This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains the circumstances under which refunds may be issued for entries or payments made on GoLottery.co.uk (“the Website”), operated by GoLottery Ltd..
By submitting payment through this Website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms below.
GoLottery.co.uk operates online prize competitions and skill-based promotions in accordance with the Gambling Act 2005 (Section 14).
Each entry constitutes a participation in a draw or competition and provides a fair chance of winning a prize as described on the competition page.
Because each entry forms part of a live competition, payments are final and non-refundable once confirmed — except in limited, exceptional circumstances detailed below.
Once a payment has been successfully processed and an entry number has been issued, the transaction becomes final.
No cancellations, withdrawals, or refunds are available for:
Change of mind or personal circumstances;
Incorrect entry submission;
Missed entry deadlines;
Failure to win or dissatisfaction with results.
This ensures fairness and transparency for all participants.
Refunds will only be considered in the following limited situations:
Duplicate Payment:
If your card or account was charged more than once for the same entry, the duplicate transaction will be refunded in full.
Technical Error:
If a confirmed payment was not correctly registered in our system due to a verified technical fault, GoLottery Ltd. will either issue a replacement entry or a full refund.
Competition Cancellation:
If a competition is cancelled before the draw date, GoLottery Ltd. will issue a full refund for all valid entries within fourteen (14) business days.
Regulatory Requirement:
If a refund is mandated by UK law, court order, or a regulatory authority.
Refunds, where approved, will:
Be issued to the original payment method used during checkout;
Be processed within fourteen (14) business days from confirmation of eligibility;
Be accompanied by a written confirmation email to the registered participant.
Please note: GoLottery Ltd. cannot influence processing times of external payment providers or banks once a refund has been initiated.
If you believe an unauthorised transaction or payment error has occurred, you must notify GoLottery Ltd. in writing within seven (7) days of the transaction.

Unsubstantiated claims or chargebacks made without prior notice may result in account suspension and legal action if deemed fraudulent.
This policy complies with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, as applicable.
However, please note that competition entries, once confirmed, are considered “time-sensitive digital services” and are therefore excluded from the 14-day cooling-off period under UK law.
